The rooms are small yet cozy. Good for two people. If space does not bother you, then this hotel would be great. Near the MTR/Subway station, bus stops, and tram. Walking distance to shops, jewelry stores, and food establishments.

found hotel provided a very cost efrfective facilities for value. within 50-100mtres from mtr, buses etc and shopping and cost effective eating places. the hotel also provides, i believe avery cost effective menu. for value would stay there again

very small rooms but i suppose land in Hong Kong is very expensive. Anyway it is close to an MTR and ferry wharf and only metres away from a Tram which is a great way to see one of the main streets on Hong Kong

It's small - with a double bed in the room, the space between bed and the remaining two free walls is about a metre. It's clean though and the location is good, just about fifty meteres from the MTR.

The room is small. The bed is very hard and short, not for six foot person. Good for short stay with a reasonable cheap rate. Cleanliness is good and linen change daily.

This was a wonderful hotel. The only drawback was that it was very difficult to access the internet. Even though the desk staff tried to help, they were very busy and it was difficult to access the English translation. The service in the restaurant was VERY slow...we ended up having to eat somewhere else. Understaffed???

Rooms were really small, but it comforatble and clean. Explore North point by foot and you find yourself walking in the heartland of Hong Kong. A good way to experience Hong Kong in another perspective.

My room on the 23rd floor had a harbour view, was clean and comfortable. The hotel is very close to North Point MTR station, just 3 stops away from Causeway Bay, with it's large Times Square Shopping Centre with shops and restaurants open until 10pm. The hotel has a restaurant with a good choice of quality food - Breakfasts $35, Evening Meals - a choice at $45. There are several local restaurants nearby with meals from $12, and a MacDonalds a little further along the road. An ideal location in my opinion, away from the noise and the bustle of the city centre. This was my 3rd stay, and it's my hotel of choice in Hong Kong.

My second time at this Ibis Hotel and I found the staff friendly and efficient. There are basically two types of rooms - harbour view and what they call 'city view', which is really looking at another high rise building at the rear of the hotel. On my first visit they upgraded me to a harbour view room, but on this occasion they didn't. The rooms are compact in size, clean, and with a firm double bed, tv, and tea making facilities. There is wireless broadband available throughout the hotel (HK$300 for one week's access). The restaurant offers a set breakfast at HK$35, and evening four course meals at around HK$45. There are a number of cheaper eating places nearby, although these cater mainly for the local population with menus in Chinese only. The MTR station is 50 yards away from the hotel, so the location can be described as 'convenient' if not really central. I will use this hotel again and can recommend it for travellers on a budget.

I was happy with the accommodation and service. The rooms were small but clean. Good for a single but a bit small for anyone used to a grade style. It's convenient to busses. The A11 Airport Bus depot is at the door and cost just HK40 from the airport compared to the train. It's convenient to the MTR underground with a station just outside the door and of course the old trams too. I'd stay again certainly if the price is kept the way it was.

The room was small even by Hong Kong standard (I grew up in Hong Kong and have stayed at a few other 3-star hotels in the city before) - the living area measured no more than 7 ft by 9 ft. The reception folks told us that all rooms were similar in size. Most disappointingly, we only got a 4-ft wide double bed, not a queen bed as the hotel described (and still does) on HotelClub.com's website. A few other hotel guests that we ran into had similar complaints. The reception folks were not helpful at all when we requested alternative arrangements (we didn't even mind paying for an extra bed but our request was bluntly turned down). We were forced to stay on only because we were told that for this particular hotel we wouldn't get ANY refund once we started using our reservations.

you can not sleep in the "double-rooms". the bed is smaller than a bed in a 2-beds room and the total area of the room is comparable with a sleeping car cabin. There is no space... The 2 elvetors are functioning bad, you wait & wait... It's far away from the European Ibis Standard. It is more like an hostel-style accomodation...

We expected the room to be small but were still very suprised. Only room for a double bed (not queen as stipulated) hard against the wall and small gap (1 mtr) to window. Bathroom too small to store two toilet bags! Carpet had various large stains. Rooms were cleaned daily however. We had a superior room which apparently simply means a view - which was probably the best in Hong Kong, however we weren't tempted to spend any time in the room to enjoy it. For a one night stopover this room would suffice but I don't recommend it for two people, and certainly not for 6 nights which we had. We stayed on becuase there was little accomodation available and we did not want to lose too much time finding somewhere else.

Although the room has a nice seaview, the interior of the room is exceptionally small. The bed is very hard. Reception staff are inefficient and barely knows English. I have booked a room with double-bed but upon check-in I am told only a twin room is available. I need to raise my voice and told him what a booked before the staff gave me a room with double bed

Excellent choice for travellers on a budget. Compact but well planned rooms with good views across HK harbour. Metres from the train station entrance. Friendly helpful staff. The local area has supermarket 7/11's and many local traders and restaurants.

Location is most highlighten due to easy to find from MTR exit. It is one of the good hotel in HongKong especially for one person stay. I love their restaurant decorate where some of their menu is quite interesting with very good price. Next visit I will ask for front view location. Love to go back and stay. Only one concerned is Airport Express shuttle bus won''t service at this hotel.

Has small compact rooms, but very nice, modern, and clean. The harbour view of a very busy waterway. Their $33HK (Approx. $4.20US) are very good value! There is a subway train station (MTR) located virtually underneath the hotel.

Excellent location right next to mtr and bus station with central only 5 mins away easy to get to from the airport too. Just catch the bus from airport to north point the last stop is the main bus station in north point. [The hotel] is right in front of you also safe place to stay, very clean cheap laundry shop right next to it too. Hope this will help.

19. From: Wallace Fu, Australia

The room is small but at least it can fit in a desk and a chair. Bathroom is small but at least toilet and shower are separated. The room (and the hotel) is clean and comfortable so it is recommended. It is just next to North Point MTR exit, very convenient to go to Causeway Bay for shopping. Things to improve are: Lifts are a bit slow. There is only one person working at the reception, need to wait for a while when checking in/out.

The bed and the pillows were very hard. It would be nice if the matress was a bit thicker and softer. Otherwise, it is a nice clean hotel at a very good location.
